Under that name 27 February 2024 year in the Chernihiv regional historical museum named after V.V. Tarnovsky, to the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russia, a new exhibition of the French artist Pedro Pierre Bergé was opened.
The artist from France visited Chernihiv for the first time in July 2023 year. Just then in the museum, he presented his first art exhibition.
Pedro brought a new series of his works "Women chose life" to Chernihiv, which were created under the influence of the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the artist's visit to the destroyed city last summer. Pedro visited the city with his friend Jean di Bartolomeo.
Plots, depicted in the master's paintings are dedicated to tragic events in the regional center, rocket attack on the Chernihiv Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after T. T. Shevchenko, the destruction of its surroundings (Novoselivka, Kiyinka), surrounding villages destroyed by the war. Communication between the artist and those present took place thanks to the translator Victoria Razumeyko-Piddubnia.
