To the 100th anniversary of Master Grigory Denysenko

Hryhoriy Denysenko-Ceramist artist, заслужений майстер народної творчості України (1996), член Національної спілки майстрів народного мистецтва України (1991; secretary of the Great Council 1991–2002) and the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1988), laureate of the NSMNMU award named after D. Щербаківського (1996), кавалер ордена “За заслуги” 3-го ступеня (2001).

Народився майстер 9 March 1925 року у селі Олешня Ріпкинського району – найвідомішому гончарському осередку Чернігівщини у сім’ї потомствених гончарів. З дитинства Григорій Павлович був залучений до гончарної справи і, як інші діти гончарів, спочатку ліпив різноманітні свищики, later learn to make sketches from the nature of people and animals on your own, ескізи. Denisenko returned to his native village, where in two and a half years he established the production of high-art products on the basis of a local pottery workshop, having created a powerful ceramic production base with modern technologies in Oleshna. Почався випуск нової продукції, більшість з якої була виготовлена за розробками Григорія Павловича, як-от: миски, горщики, куманці, набори для вареників та молока, декоративні та сувенірні тарелі, кухлі тощо.
