29 April 2023 Iryna Mykhailivna Tarnovska will celebrate her 87th birthday this year. Her father, Mykhailo Volodymyrovych, is a famous photographer, the author of the genealogy of the Tarnovsky noble family, nephew of Vasyl Vasyliovych Tarnovskyi (1838-1899), whose name the Chernihiv Regional Historical Museum bears.
Iryna Mykhailivna, an engineer by profession, a graduate of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute also has an artistic flair. Her apartment is decorated with numerous pictures embroidered with impeccable taste. She is a member of the Chernihiv community in Kyiv, has been cooperating with the National Historical and Cultural Reserve "Kachanivka" and our museum for many years. Iryna Mykhailivna handed over numerous family heirlooms, books from your own library, continuing the charitable family traditions of the Tarnovskys.
