“Stories of the unbreakable: Tupychiv community”

26 February in the Chernihiv regional historical museum named after. VV. Tarnovsky, to the anniversary of the full-scale invasion, an event was held from the cycle "Stories of the Indomitable" – meeting with residents of Tupychiv OTG.
We started the "Stories of the Unbreakable" cycle in 2024 year. We invite community representatives to them, who were injured during the active phase of hostilities in Chernihiv Oblast (February - March 2022). The settlements of the Tupychiv community were under occupation 36 днів. 36 days of intimidation, threats, looting, robberies, stability and courage.
Today we talked about the occupation of the community, war crimes of the Russians, survival strategies of civilian residents, and also about community life after liberation during a large-scale war.
The community is located in the north-eastern part of Chernihiv region, on the border with Russia and Belarus. He is currently a member of the community 11 населених пунктів, has an agricultural profile.

In April - June 2022 In 2016, the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces jointly with the Chernihiv District Council organized and conducted the humanitarian action "The Armed Forces Stand Up for the Shoulder". Goal: demining territories, solving the urgent problems of residents, that were in occupation, provision of medical assistance, etc. It was the interaction of the Armed Forces, local self-government bodies and volunteers. The colonel told the event participants about this action, Valentyn Buryachenko, officer of the Pivnich police station.
Students were present at the event Chernihiv Higher Professional School of Household Services and students Penitentiary Academy of Ukraine, representatives of OC "North" and museum workers.
