8 famous carver from Novgorod-Siversky Anatoly Ivanovich Koloshin celebrates his 80th anniversary in June, founder of a modern carving school, which not only revived the traditions of Chernihiv triangular-notched carving, but also creatively developed them. He is an honored master of folk art of Ukraine (1996), presidential scholarship holder, член Національної спілки художників України (1983) and the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine (1991).
Do 2001 year A. Koloshin was awarded the prize in the field of folk art named after D.. Щербаківського, in 2010 year - awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism "For Preservation of Folk Art", in 2011 year "… for many years of work to revive the ancient traditions of Chernihiv carving, creation of a classical school of the Seversky carving ”became the winner of the Chernihiv regional award of a name of Mikhail Kotsyubynsky in the nomination“ Decorative and fine arts ”.
Chernihiv Historical Museum of VV. Tarnowski is proud of that, which has in its collection a weighty collection of works by the Master, which accrues 33 items.
