У Чернігівському історичному музеї ім. VV. Tarnowski has a unique photo album, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the abolition of serfdom. It contains 63 світлини, made in 1911 Natalia Semplikevych in the village of Khorobichi, Horodyansk District, Chernihiv Province.
Among the photos, which reflect the life and way of life of the peasants, we see photos, which illustrate the measures taken to abolish serfdom: service in the church, prayer service in the square, lesson in school, тощо. Events and portraits of peasants appear from the pages of the album, which came to the museum 1968 year from a resident of the village of Khorobichi.
