Prominent figures in the history of Sednev

13 September 2024 In 2018, two new locations were opened in the "Lyzogubi Family Manor" - a branch of the Chernihiv Regional History Museum named after V.V.. Guests also had the opportunity to watch a documentary from the series "Mysterious Sednov. Hryts Zolotyusinky".

The exhibition project "Prominent figures in the history of Sednev" appeared on Lyzogub's Chestnut Alley - it is a manifestation of respect and honor for historical figures, who at different times devoted their lives to the struggle for the independence of Ukraine. Among them,:

Ілля Людвигович Шраг (1847-1919 years.) - a famous lawyer, prominent public and political figure, who was born in Sednev. Member of the Ukrainian Central Council, ideologue of Chernihiv Prosvita. He defended the autonomy of Ukraine. Image of the figure of I. Shraga was made with the assistance of the head of the National Council of Women of Ukraine Lyudmila Porohniak-Ganovska, benefactor Oleksiy Baranovskyi;

Fedir Andriyovych Lyzogub (1851-1928 years.) - Ukrainian public and political figure, who was born in Sednev. Minister of Internal Affairs, the head of the government of Pavlo Skoropadskyi 1918 year. Picture of F. Lyzoguba was produced with the assistance of Anatoly Dron, native of Sednev;

Volodymyr Andriyovych Chepelyk (1945-2021 years.) - former head of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, honorary citizen of Sednev. Numerous sculptures of graduates of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture decorate the historical objects of our region, created by design, with the help of V. Chepelika. The image of the figure of Volodymyr Chepelik on the alley was made with the assistance of the head of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Kostyantyn Chernyavskyi;

Danylo Yukhimovych Kysil (1880-1977 years.) - a local historian, educator. Collected a collection of photos, documents, object descriptions, testimony, antiquities, created the Sednev Museum in his surroundings, and the family kept his materials. Image of the figure of D. Kisil was made with the assistance of the acting head of the Sedniv settlement council Tetyana Morylyak, Andrii Pinchuk, head of the Bobrovytskyi branch of "Chernihiv Zemlyastva".;

generalized image Chernihiv colonels Yakov Kindratovych Lyzogub (1620-1698 years.) and his son Yukhym Yakovych Lyzogub (1650-1704 years.) taken from an illustration by T. Kalinsky to the book by O. Regelman about the Ukrainian Cossacks (1846 р.). The image of the colonel was made with the assistance of Valery Demchenko, the head of the youth department of the Chernihiv community in Kyiv;

Prince Svyatoslav Yaroslavovych of Chernihiv and Kyiv (1027-1076 years.), the first chronicle mention of the town of Snoweysk is associated with his name (now Sedniv). 1068 year, the prince with a 3,000-strong army defeated the 12,000-strong Polovtsian army of Sharukhan. The prince was the customer of two books "Sviatoslav's Collections" 1073 та 1076 рр. The image of the prince was made with the assistance of the deputy of the Chernihiv Regional Council Hryhoriy Tkachenko and deputies of the Chernihiv District Council.

The photo exhibition "Sedniv and Sednivtsi" was presented to the guests in the Manor building. The museum wants to preserve the memory of ordinary Sedniv families, who are currently living, are working, whose representatives participated in historical events, and family photos have recorded facts from the history of Sednev.

The exhibition presents photos from family albums of Vasko families, Goshko, Ploughshare, Neimesh, Saddler, Arabinykh, Work, Forest, children, Karbovsky-Kripky. The showcases feature copies of family photos and documents of the Karbovsky-Kripkys and the Pekurs.

Donated items of use from previous years (picture, рушники, boots, chest, bricks, spinning wheels, rolling pin and ruble, ladle, harmony, дзеркало, balance) by the Sadler families, Pekur, Work, Naumenko, Arabic, Dobryakova, Wine, Copies are used to decorate rooms.

They visited the solemn events: Tetyana Morylyak - acting. head of the Sedniv settlement council, Volodymyr Rudenok is an archaeologist, researcher of Sednev, Valery Demchenko - head of the youth department of the Chernihiv community in Kyiv, Volodymyr Polishchuk is a philanthropist, lyceum students and teachers of a local educational institution, women's vocal ensemble "Beregynia" of the Sedniv Culture House, local residents and their descendants, tourists, Chelain correspondent Oksana Zamyatina.
