To the International Museum Day in “Estates of the Lyzogub family” - a number of events were held at the branch of the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after VV Tarnovsky. Among them is a meeting of descendants of hundreds of Cossack Novobilouska and Sednivska communities, scientists and artists, young and experienced residents of Sedniv. The local village head Serhiy Maslov told the audience about the prospects for tourism development. The head of the Novobilouska community, Dmytro Fedorov, supported the Lyzohubiv Estate, giving a modern multimedia projector. Andriy Lisovy - Deputy Director of the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after VV Tarnovsky spoke about the prospects for the development of the estate.
Svitlana Polovnikova - Senior Researcher of the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after VV Tarnovsky, introduced the audience to the Sednivka family of Balika, which greatly interested the students. Andriy Kurdanov, a researcher at the museum, prepared materials about Sedniv's guests 1965-2005 years and presented them to the director of the House of Artists Alexei Pashchenko. Daria Dobryakova and Yuri Kutilov – members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, whose families are represented in the palace of the Lyzogubs, told what place in their lives is Sedniv. Congratulations on the holiday - International Museum Day, the staff of the Estate local ensemble “Берегиня”. Tetyana Luhovska - a branch, acquainted the audience with an outstanding patron of the late nineteenth - early twentieth century. Ivan Yakovlevich Dunin-Borkovsky, who had a family estate in New Belarus and was buried near the walls of the local Trinity Church. The patron introduced the Ilya Ludwigovich Shrag Prize - a native of Sedniv, prominent Ukrainian statesman. Another native of Sedniv Arkady Vasilyevich Kazka is a poet, fighter for independent Ukraine, received this award, studying at the Chernihiv Real School and the Kyiv Commercial Institute. The guests of the Estate had the opportunity to get acquainted with the history, its impressive facts, culture, monuments of national importance and the nature of Sedniv.
