During many years, as noted by the researchers of the Lyzogub Family Estates - a branch of the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after. VV. Tarnovsky, we are watching, as numerous visitors to the historical monuments of Sednev are always impressed by the inspection of the underground premises of Kamianitsa and the Church of the Resurrection. Many stories of Sedniv residents were recorded on video about the existence of underground passages. More than once, in the documentaries of various journalists, you can also see filming of mysterious dungeons. Well-known Chernihiv historians and archaeologists also have their own view on this topic.
Отже, Tetyana Lugovska and Andriy Kurdanov - employees of the Lyzogub Family Manor, maybe for the first time, decided to collect existing memories, documents, conduct appropriate shootings and create "Mysterious Sedniv: journeys through the dungeons of monuments".
The first part shows the underground structures of the monuments, and already in the second part "Sedniv Underground Passages - Myths or Reality" we have interesting opinions of experts - Mykhailo Sedler from Sedniv and famous archaeologists Volodymyr Rudenko, Ihor Syty and Ihor Ignatenko.
This idea was supported by the public organization "Chernihivske zemlyatstvo", which made it possible to shoot with modern equipment. The head of the youth department, Valery Demchenko, actively supported the implementation of this project. Designer Oleksandr Silov made a significant contribution to the creation of the film.
The same day, the presentation of the film was also held on the territory of the Lyzogub Family Manor.
The film will be interesting for a wide audience of all those who are interested in the history of the Chernihiv-Siver region and Sednev as well.
