Within the framework of the "Ethnic" museum project 6 October 2023 Dr.. in Chernihiv Historical Museum. VV. The event "Wedding house of craftswoman Olga Kostyuchenko" took place in Tarnovsky. The authors of the project, senior researchers Olena Trukhan and Yevhen Naselevets told the visitors about wedding traditions and ceremonies in Chernihiv Oblast. Senior researcher Lyudmila Sita presented rare and exquisite samples of ancient Russian embroidery. Well-known Chernihiv craftswoman Olga Kostyuchenko presented her wonderful works in the interior of the house. These are the festive costumes of the young, girlfriend and mother of the bride, also things, which should illustrate the dowry: holiday clothes, towels, etc. Ceremonial wedding songs of our region were performed by the "Singing Workshop".. The meeting ended with the distribution of bread among the participants of the event.
