Presentation of the guide "Ways of Taras Shevchenko. Chernihiv” in Shchors Historical Museum

This publication was initiated by scientists museum Vasyl Tarnovsky and embodied them in cooperation with Kiev publisher "B.". The book was published in preparation for the 200th anniversary of the birth of TG. Shevchenko State-funded program "Ukrainian book 2012 year ". The idea of ​​Chernihiv found a favorable response and support, initiating a series of guides "Ways of Taras Shevchenko" (currently preparing similar publications in Kyiv region, city ​​Kyiv, we are preparing materials to Cherkasy). Given the huge contribution in perpetuating the memory of Ukrainian genius, made Vasily Tarnovsky, 175 anniversary of whose birth was 1 April 2013 year, authors guide talked about the life and work of Basil Tarnowska. Particular attention was paid to the role of philanthropist and public figure in the restoration of the grave of Taras Shevchenko on the Monk Mountain.
