In the collection of the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after VV. Tarnowski has an interesting old jubilee print, which is being performed this year 250 years. This is the book "Conversations of St. John Chrysostom" published in 1772 year.
Saint John, Archbishop of Constantinople (398-404 years.) - preacher of the word of God, who for a special gift of eloquence from his flock received the name of Golden-mouthed. None of the Greek Fathers of the Church has left behind such a large multi-thematic theological literary heritage., as St. John.
The book from the museum collection is a collection of conversations of St. John Chrysostom divided into two buildings: 1) conversations about repentance and 2) on some Lord's feasts and Sundays.
This old print belonged to different owners, as evidenced by the entries in the book. Першим придбав його єпископ Воронезький та Єлецький Тихон (Yakubovsky). He bought it "from the Voronezh merchant Sergei Ivanovich Noskov, за 2 rubles 1774 March 20 day", as evidenced by the entry in the book.
The bishop was born in 1726 in the family of burghers Jacob and Agafia Yakubovsky in the town of Korop. His father was a shoemaker. З дитинства співав в приходському Вознесенському храмі. Bishop Tikhon was an educated man, knew foreign languages. In 1774 year, Bishop Tikhon made a pilgrimage to Kiev to worship the holy relics. After Kyiv, he went to his native Korop to visit his younger brother Eumenius, who was also a priest. We learn about this from the entries in the book: “The Most Reverend Tikhon, Bishop of Voronezh and Yelets, on his journey from Kiev, where he, on the promise to bow to the holy relics, went to Korop, and in my house he presented me with this book, his Eminence’s brother, Priest Evmeny Yakubovsky, which I personally signed 1774 September 28 day".
On the sheets 1-12 old print stretched record: “This book belongs to the books of the Voznesensky Koropovsky priest Evmeny Yakubovsky with 1774 September 28 day".
Eumenes Jakubowski was ordained a priest in 1764 year for the Carpathian Church of the Ascension, probably built on the site of an old wooden church by the Ataman of the General Artillery Peter Yurkevich in the same year. Like his older brother, the priest Eumenius was an educated man (graduated from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy), enjoyed the respect of his flock. 
In the "Historical and statistical description of the Chernihiv diocese" of St. Philaret (Gumilevsky) is the following description of this priest: "Archpriest Eumenia Yakubovsky, a minister of the Ascension Church, is still fondly remembered in Korop… Remaining a widower with two children, he lived a solitary life and devoted his time to reading books, then the service of the temple - and the parish. Sometimes he preached sermons, his pious life taught the parishioners the most. Humble and meek, he helped the poor and needy as much as he could, and with gentle love he instructed sinners. He performed the service with lively zeal… quietly died in 77 years, in 1814 year ".
Listed in the "Historical and Statistical Description" and the gifts of Reverend Tikhon Yakubovsky to the Church of the Ascension - is the altar cross, “Octoich” та “Flower Triodion” donated to 1765 year, which testifies to the good attitude of the bishop to his native church.
Apparently, even during the life of Eumenes Yakubovsky, "Conversations" of St. John Chrysostom found a new owner. Maybe, Father Eumenius presented it to the priest of St. George's Church in the village of Novi Mlyny (not far from Sosnytsia) Anthony the Great.
We learn about this from the record of the transfer of the book to the successor of Father Anthony in the ownership of it - the priest Kozma from Sosnytsia. It says: “This book was presented to the priest Sosnitsky father Kosma by the widowed priest Matrona for the commemoration of her husband, the deceased Anthony Velikoshapka, the priest of St. George Novomlinsky. 1798 of the year of April ». That is, at the time when the "Conversations" fell into the fourth hands, Father Eumenius of Carp was still alive.
It should be noted, that the themes of the Conversations correspond to the period of use in worship “Triodion” (in addition to Christmas talks and the Baptism of the Lord) and could be a good support to the priests in preparing for the sermon. The state of the book speaks for itself, that she did not saw on the shelf, and was actively used. Many pages emphasize important thoughts and statements for the reader.
Next entry, which speaks of the transfer of the book by Father Cosmas crossed out: “This Sosnitsky priest father Cosmas gave me to his brother, his native priest Babsky Nikifor Barzilovsky”. Below it is a note in another handwriting: "There is no truth to this and that is forbidden".
From the list 1804 fate "perpetrated in the dicastery from nominal lists, about priests and clergy, who have attended seminars, consisting of townships, also in rural churches with evidence against each, what did you learn, and how many years of age "we learn some information about the brothers-priests. Станом на 1804 year, Father Kozma was a priest of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in the village of Zagrebella, located just a few kilometers from Sosnytsia, and his younger brother Nicephorus, a priest of St. Michael's Church in the village of Baba, Sosnytsia County (now the village of Pokrovske, Koryukiv district). Both had a theological education.
