In Chernihiv Historical Museum named after VV. Tarnowska eve 8 March opened exhibition, devoted to the anniversaries of two known in Chernihiv masters the art of embroidery: 100-anniversary of the birth of Alexandra Ivanovna Leynachuk (1919–2004) and 75 - Anna Ivanovna Grigorenko (1944–2006).
Both masters were born in Chernihiv: first - in Bobrovica (at that time - the town, Center County township Kozeletskyi), other - with. Hayenky Ichnya District. The first embroidery lessons they received in early childhood from their mothers, fell in love with this ancient art and eventually it achieved outstanding craftsmanship. Became a member of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine, Г.І. Григоренко удостоєна звання заслуженого майстра народної творчості, and adopted by the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. On account of both - participated in numerous exhibitions of different levels, and their works are in museums and private collections not only Ukraine, but also abroad.

Grigorenko was drawing and embroidery profession, she won the Kiev College of Applied Arts and the Lviv Polygraphic Institute named after Ivan Fedorov.
