Craftswomen art embroidery

In Chernihiv Historical Museum named after VV. Tarnowska eve 8 March opened exhibition, devoted to the anniversaries of two known in Chernihiv masters the art of embroidery: 100-anniversary of the birth of Alexandra Ivanovna Leynachuk (1919–2004) and 75 - Anna Ivanovna Grigorenko (1944–2006).

Both masters were born in Chernihiv: first - in Bobrovica (at that time - the town, Center County township Kozeletskyi), other - with. Hayenky Ichnya District. The first embroidery lessons they received in early childhood from their mothers, fell in love with this ancient art and eventually it achieved outstanding craftsmanship. Became a member of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine, Г.І. Григоренко удостоєна звання заслуженого майстра народної творчості, and adopted by the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
