10 November 2023 року у Чернігівському історичному музеї ім. VV. Tarnovsky, as part of the "Ethnic" project, together with the Chernihiv Regional Center of Folk Art, a museum meeting "The Magic of the Vine of Lydia Gonchar" was held.
Senior researchers of the museum Olena Trukhan and Yevhen Naselevets told the audience about the history of wicker weaving in our region, because the vine is one of the first materials, which a person began to use for household needs.
Those present got acquainted with the wonderful products of craftswoman Lidia Gonchar, were able to communicate directly with her. Her friends and colleagues greeted her with warm words. Mrs. Lidia heads the "Weaving" studio at the Regional Center of Folk Art, is a member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine, a participant in many international, all-Ukrainian and regional festivals and exhibitions.
