Ceramic toy fistula

In Chernihiv Historical Museum named after VV. Tarnovsky 16 November 2021 year was presented the exhibition "Ceramic toy fistula: Olga Baeva », created in accordance with the order of the President of Ukraine from 27 May 2021 "On the appointment of grants of the President of Ukraine to young figures in the field of theater, musical, circus, fine arts, as well as young writers and masters of folk art to create and implement creative projects ". Among others, Olga Baeva from Chernihiv received a grant for the implementation of the project "Ceramic toy-fistula". She is a musician by education, works in the Regional Philharmonic Center of festivals and concert programs, а від 2015 year, her great hobby was the manufacture of ceramic toys in the tradition of folk ceramic sculpture.

Fistula toys, as well as toys made of clay in general, from ancient times were made everywhere, where there were potters. Among the well-known pottery centers of Ukraine is Chernihiv Ichnia. It is the works of the famous Ichnia master Mykola Pishchenko (1911–1974) had a great influence on Olga. Taking them as a model, the master continues the traditions of toy making in Chernihiv region, creates his own art world, full of music, ancient talismans and signs. Famous Chernihiv ceramist Serhiy Yankov and her husband Rodion, also a musician, became Olga's good advisers., who had already worked with clay.

Today Olga Baeva has a number of fistulas - various and multi-colored grasshoppers., roosters, peacocks, sheep, goats, boars, bulls, bears, deer, cuckoos, etc..

"I am inspired by creativity in the eyes of people, picking up my fistula toys!"- says Olga Baeva, young master, who did the first in art, but confident steps and already has a lot of admirers and fans of his talent. 2018 year certified as a master of folk art. Participates in all-Ukrainian and regional exhibitions of folk art, festivals, ethnoartistic holidays, as well as many iconic art events in Chernihiv and Ukraine.

Exhibited at the exhibition 82 items: grant fistulas (25 units), made by Olga Baeva during 2021 year, as well as the works of the Baevs of 2018-2021. A separate section represents the dishes of Rodion Baev.

The museum does not accept visitors due to quarantine.
