20 November 2018 year for the 150th anniversary of the diplomat's birthday Hryhoriy Stepanovich Shcherbyna Chernihiv Historical Museum of VV. Tarnovsky held a museum meeting "Diplomatic service: challenges - past and present ".
Hryhoriy Shcherbina was born in Chernihiv 21 November 1868 year and died tragically in Mitrovica (Сербія) 27 March 1903 year.
About the preparation of the book about representatives of the diplomatic service - natives of Chernihiv Oblast "Serving the people is the highest honor!», issued 2016 Petro Dmytrovych Shapoval told – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Kyrgyzstan and Belarus (2003- 2010 years).
With interest, the audience also learned about the activities of consuls in modern conditions from the speech of Mykola Oleksandrovych Rudek - Consul General of Ukraine in St. Petersburg (2004 -2009 years).
