Scientific studies of Avicenna, historical observations of Ibn Fadlan, poetry of Omar Khayyam, make the culture of Persia known to the whole world.

Presented at the exhibition 27 exhibits, which entered the museum as part of the collection of V.V. Tarnovsky, came from the State Historical Museum (м. Moscow) and the museum of the Chernihiv Musical Instrument Factory. One object - a table - was provided by the Chernihiv Regional Art Museum named after Hryhoriy Galagan. Weapon, обладунок та чоловічі пояси датуються XVIII–XIX ст., музичні інструменти – першою половиною ХХ сторіччя.

Рідкісним для музеїв України експонатом є кешкюль – чаша монаха-дервіша. Філософськими та поетичними текстами мовою дарі (варіант перської) прикрашений і столик ХІХ сторіччя.
