23 August 2024 year to the Independence Day of Ukraine in the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after. VV. Tarnovsky, the exhibition "World of Chernihiv Polissia" opened. Ethnographic collection of Yury Dakhna". The exposition is based on antiquities from the ethnographic collection of the famous collector and local historian from the village of Moskali Mykhailo-Kotsyubonska OTG of the Chernihiv district, Yuriy Dakhna. The exhibition reveals a rich layer of folk culture and life of our region in the second half of the 19th - the first half of the 20th centuries., allows you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the past, feel the spirit of the Polish village, learn more about the life of our ancestors. Various household items are presented on it, tools of labor, Clothing, dishes and other things reflect the everyday life of Polissia villagers.

Visitors had the opportunity to listen to Yuriy Dakhn's fascinating story about the exhibits presented at the exhibition, traditions and dialects of Chernihiv Polissia, hear folk songs performed by a local historian. The bandurists' chapel named after. О. Veresaya of the Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic Center of Festivals and Concert Programs (the artistic director and chief conductor is Raisa Borshch, Honored Artist of Ukraine, the main choirmaster is Mykola Borshch, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine).
