4 February 2020 , in Chernihiv Historical Museum named after V. Tarnowska museum meeting held, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the famous physicist John Pul'uj.

Born in Ternopil, Austro-Hungarian citizen John Puliui prysluzhyvsya Ukrainian culture. 1869 was joined Bible translation in Ukrainian, who has with Ukrainian historian, writer Panteleimon Kulish. As a result of their cooperation, in 1871 in Vienna were published successively four canonical Gospels.

В Чернігівському історичному музеї імені В.В. Tarnowska kept John Pul'uj materials - photographs and epistolary heritage. Letters of John Pul'uj Alexandra Kulish (Ukrainian writer Anna Periwinkle) dating back 1898-1905 years. After the death of John Panteleimon Kulish Puliui financially supported the widow of the writer.

The precious relic, stored in the museum, is a silver laurel wreath with the inscription: 'Memory is not forgotten other Kulish. Puliui 1899 ".
